Never Enough Time?

With end of year deadlines approaching and your social calendar bursting at the seams, do you feel you have too much to do and not enough time? Time is an interesting concept and I sure you would have experienced situations when time either “stood still” or, when it felt that there was never enough time. This time of the year does bring challenges with demands on your time, however by being clear on your outcomes and managing your time more effectively, you will achieve success.

External demands, distractions and frustrations shift our focus and derail our dreams. We all have areas of our lives that require more attention, so it is important for you to discover who you are, ascertain if you have everything you want at the moment and decide if you have the quality of life you truly deserve. Decide where you would like your focus to be, write precise goals and check that they are inspirational, measurable, and have stretch. Then, it is important to think about how you’re going to manage your time to achieve your exciting new goals. By creating time for success with a renewed focus, you will note success through small steps and your momentum and motivation will build progressively. And, here’s some tips for you:

  • Review your current approach with time management
  • Find out where you are wasting time
  • Create your ideal life
  • Ensure you are focusing in the right areas of your life
  • Choose new goals that you feel excited about
  • Decide on a system that suits your needs
  • Notice demands that arise and how you respond
  • Ensure your decisions and habits support you
  • Become aware of the natural flow in your life
  • Acknowledge progress and celebrate success
